On October 5, 2018, reports claiming that Cage abused his former girlfriend Vickie Park appeared. She reportedly had an on-off relationship with Cage since around June 2017. She alleged that Cage was ‘severely intoxicated’ during the Slash Film Festival in Vienna on September 20, during which he was abusive to her.
The case was detailed in court documents, as part of a restraining order application she is seeking at the moment against Alice Kim, the now ex-wife of the cage. Park said Kim continuously stalked her on social media and harassed her. The judge denied the restraining order until a hearing.
A representative for the actor said on the matter: ‘Nicolas and Alice Cage categorically deny the absurd allegations.’
