It’s safe to say that all yacht owners are rich people, however, some are richer than others. The price of the yacht in question has a close correlation to the net worth of the owner. If a person has a $15 million yacht, then his net worth might be somewhere between $60 million and $100 million. The same goes for yachts at a higher price. If the yacht costs $50 million, then the owner must be wealthier than the previous example.
Only billionaires can purchase yachts that are larger than 80 met. Some of these yachts cost more than $200 million and some even come close to the billion dollar mark.
