Bill Gates Rented Yacht Serene
Bill Gates chartered Serene for $5 million per week during the summer of 2014. There are several images taken by the NY Daily News of Microsoft tycoon aboard Serene. Gates doesn’t own the yacht, but he charted it from Stolichnaya vodka distributor Yuri Shefler. Even though Gates can obviously own a yacht, he chooses to charter one.
During the vacation, Bill Gates and his family also used the Serene’sonboard helicopter. The helicopter was mostly used for travelling to tennis matches in Sardinia. The Microsoft billionaire owns a playground near Porto Cervo.
