A clipper-bowed three-masted gaff rigged schooner, Athena was the largest sailing yacht in the world at the moment of launching in 2004. It was built by Royal Huisman for internet entrepreneur James H. Clark. He tried selling it a coulee of times, with an asking price of $95 million, which was later reduced first to $75 million and finally in 2019 to $45 million. Athena is registered at Cayman Islands.
